We are the worldwide DJ coalition
The Worldwide Fleet DJs
We are the largest DJ coalition in the worldOur own words, on fleetdjs.com
We started in Newark, New Jersey in 2001. Today we are nearly 600 active members across the U.S., Bermuda, the U.K., Africa and Qatar, with our own radio network behind our name: 31 flagship stations, 350+ channels live on our directory.
01Who we are
NOT A CREW.AN APPARATUS.
We started in 2001 as five DJs in Newark, New Jersey, under Klassik, our Founder and CEO. Twenty five years later we are nearly 600 members strong: DJs, producers, journalists, photographers, graphic artists, tastemakers, radio station owners, models and recording artists, organized like an institution because that is what we are.
Our structure runs deep: an executive staff, regional, state and division managers, chapters from New York to Florida to Alabama, a Certified Legends honor roll and a standing memorial to the members we have lost. Klassik's father, who sat on the World Council of the Zulu Nation, drew that blueprint before his passing in 2017.

Fleet Radio Network is ours: over 95 BDS monitored stations, online, on Roku and on the dial. Just ask Alexa.

We raise the family
Fifteen annual conferences, a gospel conference, chapter weekends and our weekly coalition calls.
Being able to represent my home city of Newark, NJ and help to provide a platform for emerging talent across the globe is important to me.
Everything starts and ends with the DJ.
Our @fleetdjs account is his too. Instagram carries it as Klassik, CEO of Fleet DJs, and his bio names him a BET Voting Academy member.

TWENTY FIVE YEARSON THE RECORD.
The founding, the blueprint, the film, the conferences, the network. Every row below links to where it was published.

- 2017The blueprintWe lost Klassik's father, who sat on the World Council of the Zulu Nation and shaped the Fleet structure. The org chart we still run on carries his fingerprints.
- 2023The documentaryWe put twenty five years on film. Beyond The Turntables: The Fleet DJs, a 2023 documentary streaming free on Tubi, with the full premiere going up in February 2024.
- 2025The 14th conferenceWe ran the 14th Annual Fleet DJs Music Conference from July 17 to 21 in Atlanta, and were reported at 700 plus members across the U.S., Bermuda, the U.K., Africa and Qatar.

Our story
From Brick City to the world.
It all started in Newark, NJ. The grind, the vision, the movement. We grew from Brick City roots into a global DJ family.
Twenty five years on, we run a media universe: the radio network, Fleet TV, two magazines, two mobile apps, a record-servicing arm and a documentary on Tubi. Our conference alone has run fifteen straight years.
One movement. One family. Worldwide.
Our line is open.
